Jonathan Stubbs

Jonathan Stubbs brings a variety of teaching, community-building, and arts experience to his Yomenco classes. For over sixteen years, Jon facilitated therapeutic recreation activities for older adults with intellectual disabilities. In 2004 he received the New York State Paul Vanas Memorial Service Award for his advocacy to improve community inclusion and other services for this population.

Trained in voice, Jon has led sung worship in Brooklyn churches and performed leading roles in community musical theatre along mid-coast Maine.

Since becoming a certified hatha yoga instructor through the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers in fall 2007, Mr. Stubbs has introduced students of various ages to the healing path of yoga. A student of nutrition, Jon also enjoys cooking for his wife of fourteen years.

Mike Mancini

Mike Mancini has been practicing yoga for ten years and competed in triathlons for 15 years. Mike practices yoga to balance training work and family to have a more fulfilling life. He is now bring this balance to help others with various injuries and health issues have a more enjoyable life.

Mike has and 500 hour teaching certification from Yogaworks in NYC.

Rich Szeligowski

Rich Szeligowski began his study of Eastern philosophies and healing traditions while still in High School, and quickly found his passion lay in the art of Tai Chi. Rich has an expansive breadth and depth of training in the art and is dedicated to helping others find health, wellness, and peace through a physical/spiritual practice. He is a certified Tai Chi instructor and Yomenco Instructor who enjoys working with seniors in Rehabilitation and Eldercare.

Rich now teaches classes in Connecticut in addition to training new instructors. He is committed to helping the elderly population retain their health and well-being through this incredibly accessible program and to help spread this practice so it reaches as many seniors as possible.

Paco Arroyo

Paco Arroyo was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico and at age 13 began studying ballet. Later, he came to New York City under scholarship at the School of American Ballet and then at 17 joined the Zurich Ballet (Switzerland), where he danced for four years. Afterward, he danced through-out Europe for the Florence Ballet (Italy), Ballet du Capitole in Tolouse (France), Ballet del Gran Teatro Del Liceo in Barcelona (Spain), and The Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon (Portugal). During his career as a dancer, he toured extensively in other European countries, Central and South America, and the Carribean. He has lived in San Francisco and New York City, where he has resided since 2001. Paco has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts from the University of Puerto Rico and joined the staff of Yomenco in 2009 where he enjoys teaching.
